SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED TENDER NOTICE ERRATUM ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-174-2023/1 FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROAD N14 FROM THE NORTHWEST/ NORTHERN CAPE BORDER TO VRYBURG, N18 FROM THE NORTHWEST/NORTHERN CAPE BORDER TO VRYBURG. The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 17 March 2023 on SANRAL website, National Treasury E-tender portal and CIDB. The tender document amendments are detailed on addendum no. 3) attached to this erratum. The tenderer is requested to: Please incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 17 March 2023. Please complete form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR2@sanral.co.za not later than the date of 30 May 2023. Please note that all tenderer/s that have previously submitted form A.1.1, need NOT to submit the form again. Please note that there will be a non-compulsory clarification meeting for this tender planned to take place on the date of 06 June 2023 at 10:00.
The closing date for this tender is amended to close on 03 July 2023 at 11:00.
CONTRACT SANRAL X.002-174-2023/1 FOR THE ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROAD N14 FROM THE NORTH WEST/ NORTHERN CAPE BORDER TO VRYBURG, N18 FROM THE NORTH WEST/NORTHERN CAPE BORDER TO VRYBURG T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (SBD1) The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the Routine Road Maintenance of National Road N14 from the North West/Northern Cape Border to Vryburg, N18 from the North West/Northern Cape Border to Vryburg. This project is in the province of North-West and in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi District Municipality. The approximate duration is thirty-six (60) months. CIDB Regulation 25 (1B) will be applicable to this contract. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender. Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises. It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CE or higher, however, tenderers attention is drawn to clause C.2.1 of the Tender Data when submitting their tender. Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises but with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25(1B) or 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, will not be accepted. This tender includes the following compulsory subcontracting to Targeted Enterprises as in the Appendix to Tender: Contract Data subclause D.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 30 May 2023. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive. NB: All tenderers that have previously submitted Form A.1.1, need NOT to re-submit the form. TENDERERS’ MEETING Non-compulsory Clarification Meeting (Virtual) A tender clarification briefing presentation is available to be downloaded from the SANRAL website by the following link: https://www.nra.co.za/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 06 June 2023 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1). CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Wednesday, 5 July 2023. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data. Requirements for completing, sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
