T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKS ACROSS SOUTH AFRICA Projects will be based in all South African 9 Provinces on an as and when required basis. The Panel will be used for a period of five (5) years. Tenderers shall confirm and indicate to Provinces that they are able to perform the works. A maximum of 20 Tenderers will be appointed and placed on a Panel. Works will be allocated to contractors on the Panel on a competitive basis taking into account Contractor capacity, Contractor available resources, Works location (Province) and performance on other awarded projects. Only tenderers who are CIDB contractors grading of 7CE or higher as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers. Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender. CIDB Regulation 25 (1B) will be applicable to this tender. This Tender includes compulsory sub-contracting of a minimum of 30% of the contract value to Targeted Enterprises as defined in Part D. TENDER DOCUMENTS Tender documents are available from 29 November 2024 for free download from National Treasury’s eTender Publication Portal (http://www.etenders.gov.za) and CIDB Website. A compulsory briefing session A compulsory briefing session will be conducted Virtually on the 12 December 2024, at 14H00pm for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late. Tenderers must use the following meeting ID details below to join the meeting: Meeting ID: 377 862 865 408 Passcode: Yh6qp2Bz Late arrivals (15 Minutes late) will not be allowed to participate in the meeting and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tender representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting. A tender-class briefing presentation will be sent to all Tenderers who attended the briefing session. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure they receive the presentation. Closing Date The closing date and time for receipt of tenders is 27 January 2025 @ 12 pm (South African Time). Tenders must be placed inside the tender box at: Location of the tender box: Reception area 48 Tambotie Avenue Val de Grace Pretoria, 0184 Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile, e-mailed tenders will NOT be accepted. No late tenders will be accepted after closing date and time. Tenderers to ensure that their names and contact details are reflected on the cover page of the bid document.
