TENDER NOTICE ERRATUM

ERRATUM TENDER NOTICE FOR CONTRACT SANRAL R.040-040-2023/1F 

CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE RESURFACING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R40 SECTION 4 FROM WHITE RIVER (KM 1.75) TO R538 INTERSECTION (KM 44.0). 

The erratum aims to amend the tender requirements in the tender advert and tender document that was published on 02 March 2023 on SANRAL website and National Treasury E-tender portal.

The tender document amendments are detailed on addendum no. 4 attached to this erratum. 

THE TENDERER IS REQUESTED TO:

incorporate all amendments as indicated in the addendum in the original tender document that was advertised on 02 March 2023.

Complete form A1.1 and submit it by emailing to ProcurementNR1@sanral.co.za not later than the date of 30 May 2023. Please note that all tenderer/s that have previously submitted form A.1.1, need NOT to submit the form again.

Please note that there will be a non-compulsory clarification meeting for this tender planned to take place on the date of 07 June 2023 at 10:00.

The closing date for this tender is amended to close on 30 June 2023 at 11:00

General Addendum as addendum No.4

REVISED TENDER ADVERT: CONTRACT SANRAL R.040-040-2023/1F   

T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): Wednesday, 12 April 2023 

CLOSING DATE: Replace with (AT 11:00): Friday, 30 June 2023

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE RESURFACING OF NATIONAL ROUTE R40 SECTION 4 FROM WHITE RIVER (KM 1.8) TO R538 INTERSECTION (KM 44). This project is in the province of Mpumalanga and in the local municipality of Mbombela and the approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by April 2024, followed by supervision of 16 months, commencing September 2024. 

Replace the following sentence:

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.  

Replace with the following:  

“Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database and meet the minimum requirements for the key persons as stipulated in Clause C.2.1 at the tender closing date, are eligible to tender.”  

Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.

Replace the following sentence:

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 10 March 2023.   Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

Replace with the following:  

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to 30 May 2023.   Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

NB: All tenderers that have previously submitted Form A.1.1, need NOT to re-submit the form.

A non-compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held via a virtual platform on 07 June 2023 at 10:00 where the project will be presented. A link to the clarification briefing meeting will be sent to tenderers who complete and submit a Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender (Form A1.1).

Replace the following sentence:

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Wednesday, 12 April 2023. 

Replace with the following:  

CLOSING TIME, COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 30 June 2023. 

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. 

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
